Seahawk Cove Phase II represents a significant milestone in the continued development of student housing in Wilmington, NC. Constructed in 2023 for Seahawk Cove SH, LLC, this project consisted of two ground-up apartment buildings designed to meet the growing demand for student accommodation at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). This phase follows the successful completion of the original Seahawk Cove project in 2017.

Design and Construction

The Seahawk Cove Phase II project aimed to enhance the existing student housing facilities by adding two modern, well-equipped apartment buildings. Each building spans 13,950 square feet, offering a total of 24 units, with 12 units per building. These units are specifically designed for student living, featuring three bedrooms and three bathrooms in each unit, along with a communal living space to foster a sense of community among residents.

The design focused on creating a comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment that caters to the unique needs of students. Modern amenities, energy-efficient systems, and high-quality materials were utilized to ensure durability and sustainability.

Construction Process

The construction of Seahawk Cove Phase II was executed with meticulous planning and precision. Key phases of the construction process included:
